Strange cut

"This is a nice weight and length but the cut is really strange. I love to have pockets in a dress but the way the pocket area is on this is so odd the whole hip are just flares out to accommodate the pockets making the dress look really strange. If your hands are in the pockets it’s fine but when the dress is just on it balloons out at the hips."

Would be perfect with a couple minor tweaks

"Love the way this dress feels and the neck is perfect for winter and a nice alternative to a hoodie. I'm giving it four stars because the price was so amazing (I paid $43 during a holiday sale). Fabric is a good weight, soft, and cozy, length is great. Two complaints (both stated by others in their reviews as well): 1. the thumbholes seem like an afterthought and are too small and awkwardly placed to be functional, 2. While pockets are great, these are positioned in exactly the wrong place for women with any hip action. The pockets hit at my widest hip point and make the silhouette bulky and unflattering. I'll still wear casually but if the pockets were positioned more to the front and at a slant this would be a totally different dress --- and way better."
